Attention 2009-2010 Scholarship Candidates: The scholarship awardees will be notified on Tuesday, May 11th. The Scholarship Committee, on Tuesday, May 11th, will give the webmaster the list of all of the winners for posting and then they will follow up the web announcement with personal calls to all awardees that evening.

The Rudy Spueller & Phillip Reno Scholarships

The Rudy Spueller (Youth Soccer Players) & Phillip Reno (Youth Soccer Referees) Scholarships is offered to graduating high school seniors and college freshman who have played in and/or refereed for GCFYSL affiliated clubs for at least three years (six seasons).

The Scholarship Selection Committee was formed at the December 2008 monthly meeting.

Scholarship information is now posted.  Submission of scholarship applications will be taken in January and February 2009.  Final application submission date is Saturday, February 28, 2009.

GCF Scholarships for Seasonal Year 2008 - 2009 will be awarded at the GCF Monthly Meeting in May, currently scheduled to be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Players will be notified when the committee has made their selections.

Scholarships for 2007-2008 have been decided upon and will be awarded at the Tuesday, July 22, 2008 meeting at 7 pm. We invite the awardees and their parents to attend the presentation at the beginning of the meeting in the Social Hall of the Altamonte Springs Chapel complex.
