New Red Card Procedure
The referee is to return ALL passes (EXCEPT for player/coach receiving red card) to the coaches after completion of the game. The referee will within 48 hours send the game report AND the pass of the player/coach receiving a red card documenting the red card violation to the league
VP of Discipline (Matt Hutchinson). The VP of Discipline will determine the duration of the suspension and forward that information to the club president(s) of the individuals involved.
At this point, GCF is now responsible for obtaining and holding the player/coach pass until all suspension activity is completed. A Player Red Card Sanction History Report form (found on GCF website) must be completed and signed by a referee at each game to verify the suspension is served. The report must then be sent to the VP of Discipline who will then forward the information along with length of suspension on to the appropriate parties (DC, league president, club president).
Upon completion of suspension, the player must pay a $50 fine* (coach fine* is $100) to the club (check made out to GCF). The club sends the fine along with the Red Card Sanction History Report to GCF AND also the Red Card Sanction History Report to the FYSA District Commissioner. The pass will be returned to the player/coach upon receipt of fine payment. A list of players/coaches receiving red cards will be posted on the league website.
Referees are to mail player/coach pass along with Game Reports of Red Card(s) offenses to:
